The Vantage is the most agile of the Aston Martin vehicles thanks to its limited weight and reduced size. Nevertheless, its weight is increasing since the increase in capacity of its engine (4.7 liters instead of 4.3 liters) starting with the 2009 model year (1630 kilos versus 1582 at the start of the generation in the V8 coupe), and the roadster and V12 versions are even heavier than the V8 coupe. However, the Vantage is still a formidable sports car, comparable to its forever rival, the Porsche 911 which is lighter but sports only a H6. In addition to being a spectacular sports car, the Vantage is very luxurious and comfortable. While it is not an Aston Martin DB9, DBS or Rapide, the Vantage is still a symbol of wealth and good taste. The Vantage is offered in coupe and convertible configurations, the latter designated as "Volante" by Aston Martin. Since the 2010 model year, two engines are available : the 4.7 liter V8 and the large 6.0 liter V12 borrowed from the DBS.
The Vantage exudes great presence thanks to its sporty yet elegant personality. Its lines are dynamic without being too harsh. The hidden door handles in the rear maintain the purity of the lateral lines. The V12 Vantage can be identified mostly by the numerous openings added to the hood.
Like other Aston Martin models, the Vantage is the perfect blend of elegance and sportiness. Everything inside this exclusive car is inviting, such as the instrument panel with its magnificent dials, its central console and its high quality leather.
