The TSX, launched in 2004 by Acura, is a North American adaptation of the Honda Accord commercialized in Europe. It shares the same chassis and several mechanical components. Its European origins explain its more modest engine (4 cylinders) than expected by North American customers for this category of car. However, this moderation allows for more economical fuel consumption while still ensuring good drivability. The TSX is relatively agile thanks to its limited weight and its mechanical components up to par with higher European standards.
