The Dodge Viper, whose first generation was launched as a 1992 model car, is first and foremost a racing beast which happens to be legal on our roads.  The current generation (2008-) is in fact the 4th generation of Viper.  Over time, the Viper has seen its power increase all the way to the magical number of 600 horsepower.  The Viper remains difficult to tame because of its lack of electronic conveniences.  It is a raw American sports car.
